React Right
Hawaiian Diving Adventures
Want to do what we do? Want to learn our scuba secrets? Become a professional, go diving, get paid for it. Dive Guide is your first step down the professional path.
The Dive Guide Program is designed for those who like to travel, work overseas, or may be looking for a part time position. Dive Guides guide certified divers but do not assist with courses or supervise student and non-certified divers.
Dive Guide Program is the most intense single program offered by HDA. This program is designed to give students all the skills needed to be a safe diver as well as the knowledge and expertise to also be a great dive professional.
How It Works
This course starts with e-Learning. You learn about first aid, CPR, AED, and O2 administration. Your instructor then conducts the practical exercises where you practice saving the life of our dummy.
Timeline
Plan to spend some time on e-Learning, usually 6-8 hours, and take the final exam online. We can complete the practical portion in one day. Since this is not a diving course we can schedule it for evenings or anytime that fits your schedule.
What to Bring
We recommend that all React Right students have their own pocket mask, although we do have spares for training. Also, we suggest bringing pencils and paper for note-taking and a bottle of water.
Special Considerations
- The minimum age is 10 years old.
- If you have questions, please contact Hawaiian Diving Adventures to discuss your particular circumstances before registration.
React Right Certification
Upon completion of all academic, practical requirements, and the final exam, your instructor issues the React Right certification card. This is a prerequisite for Master Diver and all professional programs. Refresh your React Right certifications every 24 months.
