HDA is a DOT Hydrostatic Retest Facility, that means we do the testing. Other shops bring us their tanks and charge you a premium. Skip the middle man, bring them straight to us, save money and time.

Hydrostatic Tests
In the U.S. scuba tanks must be hydrostatically tested every 5 years. The date of the last test will be stamped into the side of the tank in month/year format. A Visual Inspection must be done at time of hydro per federal law

Visual Inspections
Scuba tanks should be visually inspected annually. This is indicated by a sticker on the side or shoulder of the tank and is usually in a month/year format. Visual Inspections must be done with hydro tests.
